Why Do We Need Fuel Additives?

As we know, fuel sold generally is plain fuel. To keep prices affordable, it means the fuel has very few or lacks the crucial additives needed for perfect combustion and to maintain the entire fuel system.

Many consumers, due to lack of knowledge, mistakenly believe that using fuel with a higher Octane (Gasoline) and Cetane (Diesel) level means it is of better quality. This is a misunderstanding, because high-octane or high-cetane fuel does not guarantee that the fuel contains sufficient additives for perfect combustion and to protect the fuel system. Octane or Cetane levels are fuel specifications determined by each engine's requirements to prevent knocking, and do not define fuel quality.

1. Performance: 1 can of 300 ml poured into 60-70L of gasoline
2. Maintenance: 1/2 can (150 ml) poured into 60-70L of gasoline
